Ali Al-Assam founded KnowledgeView Ltd in 1995. Dr Al-Assam has nearly two decades of experience in product innovation, marketing and management in IT companies in the fields of publishing, multimedia acquisition and content management. His experience of keeping abreast of industry developments has enabled him to conceive and develop a range of products that have usually been ahead of the competition. Before starting his business activities, Ali Al-Assam conducted research in the fields of applied nuclear physics, magnetic domains and optical fibre switching devices.
Roberto Minio
Chief Technology Officer
Roberto Minio has 25 years' experience in senior positions in the USA, Germany and UK in academic, commercial, publishing and research enterprises. He has experience in applied mathematics and computer science, including database systems, communications and knowledge representation. For 10 years, as Manager of the New Media Group of Pira International, he headed a team of consultants, analysts, developers and designers providing consultancy and research in the commercial and publishing sector. Mr. Minio is considered as one of the top European XML experts.
Manal Moukaddem
Director of MENA region
Manal Moukaddem has 16 years' experience in the new media industry with various technical and product management roles. Manal Moukaddem helped Establish KnowledgeView Lebanon, before supervising the expansion of the MENA region operations of KnowledgeView from the Beirut office of KnowledgeView. Previously she acted as IT manager for the Beirut office of Brown and Root.
