Directions by train from Central London

• From Waterloo main line station there are trains to Surbiton station at least every quarter of an hour throughout the day. Journey time is 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the number of stops. KnowledgeView Ltd is four minutes from the station.
• On leaving the platform at Surbiton station, climb the stairs to the bridge and turn right to leave the station by its rear exit. On reaching the pavement, turn right immediately, walk along Glenbuck Road, and then take the first left into Oakhill Grove. Proceed uphill; The Sanctuary is the last building on the right.

Directions by road from Central London

Note: There is a frequent train service from London Waterloo main line station, which is usually faster and less tiresome than the more complicated and congested road route.

• Cross the River Thames by Wandsworth, Putney or Hammersmith bridges and join the A3 dual carriageway road at Wandsworth, Putney Hill or Roehampton respectively.
• Follow the A3 away from London for several miles, then leave the A3 (by the left slip road) at the overhead sign saying Tolworth Junction. Turn right via the roundabout on to the A240.
• Continue half a mile to double traffic lights and at the second light fork left into Kingsdowne Road. Proceed uphill to a mini-roundabout and take the third exit left (which is almost opposite) into Upper Brighton Road.
• Proceed downhill, ignore the first small close on the right but take the next turning right into Walpole Road. At the far end, turn right into Oakhill Grove and proceed uphill to the last building on the right, The Sanctuary.

Directions by road from Heathrow

Note: A professional chauffeur will probably use variations on the following route, which is the simplest to describe.

• Follow signs to the South side of Heathrow Airport and to the A308 road.
• Follow this road (which crosses under the M3 motorway) eastward to Kingston upon Thames.
• Cross Kingston Bridge (over the River Thames) and follow signs towards Surbiton.
• On leaving Kingston, continue straight ahead along the A240 road: along Penrhyn Road, Surbiton Road and Surbiton Hill Road.
• Continue ahead along Ewell Road, but after 4 small turnings on the right, and immediately after a small hospital on the right, leave the A240 road by turning right into Oakhill Crescent.
• Follow the crescent around to the left and immediately turn right into Oakhill Road. At the end of it turn left on to Oakhill, and turn first right into Oakhill Grove. The Sanctuary is the first building on the left.
