The digital world is about content, not medium. And it’s about content that is consumed differently to traditional media. While it requires a very different mindset to traditional media production, there are many disciplines a traditional journalist working in print or broadcast can take into the new world.

The principle disciplines are about recognising and telling a good story. However, to be successful in the digital world, journalists and editors need to be skilled-up to tell stories in a totally new way.
