RAPID Browser: the heart of the system. A server-side Java application that works out of the box with MySQL and Lucene servers, and can be installed on most platforms including Windows, Linux and MacOSX.

RAPID Archive: built on industry or open-source XML servers, this provides XML based fast long-term archive of published news packages with multi-media elements

Web browser: journalists, sub-editors and other system users require only a standard Windows or Macintosh computer and a web browser.

Adobe InCopy: Provided as part of the delivered system or obtained directly, with Adobe InDesign, from Adobe resellers

RAPIDPublish.info and fareeda.info hosted services: Provide users of the service with a virtual workflow access and a searchable archive of their published articles. For relatively large editorial groups, a local file server may be needed for storage of InDesign page files and PDF files
