Maroc Soir Groupe, a leading newspaper publisher in Morocco, has signed comprehensive contract with KnowledgeView for a multi-platform publishing system driven by RAPID Browser and Adobe publishing software.

KnowledgeView Users' Group established, with an active online site for members

With over 3000 journalists and informational professionals using RAPID Browser in more than 30 media organisations, it has become necessary to establish the users' group, allowing users real input on how RAPID Browser is developed to serve their needs. The KnowledgeView users' group will feature an online site on and at least one users' get-together per year.

The successful informal users group meeting, held in Abu Dhabi in June 2007, and attended by leading users of RAPID Browser and RAPID Archive, recommended the establishment of the users' group.

The digital world is about content, not medium. And it’s about content that is consumed differently to traditional media. Kuwait witnesses new dawn for the publishing industry with KnowledgeView, IFRA & M. A. Kharafi Group

A one-day conference was organized on October 31 in Kuwait in the Sheraton Hotel by M. A. Kharafi Group, KnowledgeView and IFRA, under the patronage of Sheikh Faisal Khalifa Al-Malek Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of Information, to talk about the latest publishing trends and strategies in the newspaper industry.

Al Syjjyl Newspaper: First Arab weekly to use RAPID Browser in a hosted environment

KnowledgeView and Jordanian software company ProSys have installed RAPID browser software for Al Syjjyl Newspaper which is now considered the first weekly Jordanian newspaper to use such a software in a hosted environment in the Arab world.

The hosted software, RAPID Browser, will maximize the return on the capital investment for Al Syjjyl by providing accurate and reliable management information and reducing operation costs. The weekly newspaper will not need a server to acquire news feeds from all over the news agencies.

KnowledgeView and Ifra to provide Newsplex training workshops in the Middle East

KnowledgeView and Ifra have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in providing Ifra Newsplex training workshops in the Middle East region.

The two entities will jointly host these events, while KnowledgeView will manage and market them.

Al Watan Newspaper - Qatar
